This is the kind of back drop painting that I want to have in our short film. Ill have to see if the group agrees.
Nice subtle use of light.
Colors are very dreamlike. The backgrounds appear more 2.D which could work well if we decide to go for a cell shaded look.
Another Gobelin Short, Its all cell shaded and works very nicely.
Simple modeling complimented by the digital painting backdrops.
The Soft lighting works well.
